10 July 2023 sees the birth of Ruvido.

Ruvido is a non-place for the city of Rome. Alessandro Bernabei, former owner of the Acquasanta and Terramadre restaurants, and Daniele Yari Stati creator of The Bro Food page, together with Art Director Luca Laurenti, have created this wine shop dedicated to the world of natural wines.

 

The structure's inspiration is the minimalist but genuinely cosy venues of Berlin and Tokyo. The music that sets the scene is electronic, 80s new wave, alternative rock, notes that resonate and bounce off an imposing wall of grey perforated tiles containing hundreds of bottles, a tribute to Brutalist architecture. Books on 80s punk posters, Street Art and vinyl Toys peep out between the wine bottles to tell the cultural iconography of this project.

 

The proposed natural wine list is very extensive, with products and producers devoted to extreme quality with a special focus on orange wines. Flanking the glasses is a contemporary wine bar kitchen, with a very careful selection of the raw materials used and the stories of the producers.

 

Ruvido will also be alive with unique events with a series of evenings in collaboration with various carefully selected chefs who will take turns in 4-handed dinners, as well as the protagonists of themed evenings will be the Winemakers ready to tell us about their wines and their stories.
